Programs
The NSW BikePlan was launched on 16 May 2010 by the Premier of NSW, and outlines the range of activities to be undertaken over the next 10 years to promote and enhance cycling across the state.
One of the high priority actions in the NSW BikePlan is the roll-out of cycling skills and proficiency programs in the western Sydney River Cities (Parramatta, Penrith, Liverpool and surrounds) for adults and families who want to ride more for transport or recreation.
These courses are based on the AustCycle model - check here here for more about this community-based cycle skills training scheme.
